FAQ
Questions about Kait.
Quick answers about hybrid fleet intelligence, who we serve, and how to get started.
- How do hybrid semi-truck fleets work?
- Hybrid semi-truck fleets combine diesel and electric trucks under a single operation. Kait's intelligence layer coordinates the mix, routing the right vehicle to the right job based on range, charging availability, load, and schedule—so you get lower fuel costs and emissions without sacrificing reliability.
- Who is Kait for?
- Kait is built for shipping companies, fleet operators, and logistics teams that run or are transitioning to mixed semi-truck fleets. If you manage Class 8 trucks, last-mile routes, or hub-and-spoke operations, Kait helps you operate them more efficiently.
- What happens after I contact you?
- We read every message personally and usually reply within one business day. From there, we schedule a short call to understand your fleet, your routes, and your biggest operational pain points. Early partners get direct access to the Kait team as we build the product together.
- Is Kait available today?
- Kait is in early access with a small group of design partners. We are onboarding hybrid fleets one at a time to make sure the product fits real-world operations before a wider release.
- Do I need to replace my trucks to use Kait?
- No. Kait is designed for mixed fleets, so you can keep your existing diesel trucks and add electric or hybrid vehicles at your own pace. Our system works across brands and powertrains.
